Legal
Terms & house rules
Last updated
This is the legal part we have to include. It’s based on respect, responsibility and common sense, and hopefully it’s easy to follow and not too boring.
The short version: by confirming your stay, you agree to be respectful to your hosts and all other guests. Failing to do so may mean being asked to leave. You take financial responsibility for any damage, loss or health issues, and all activities are undertaken at your own risk. We recommend suitable travel insurance for the duration of your stay.
Coliving agreement
All residents agree to:
- be kind and respectful to other residents, guests and hosts;
- send a copy of the photo page of their passport to the hosts in advance;
- be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the property by them or their guests;
- leave the space in the same good condition as at the start of their stay;
- follow the house rules below.
House rules
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed inside, only outside on the terrace.
- Please don’t disturb the peace of the neighbourhood. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am.
- Please don’t take work or private calls in shared spaces when others are around. Use your room, the call spot or the rooftop instead.
- Take good care of furniture and appliances. Damaged equipment is repaired or replaced at the resident’s cost.
- Subletting your room or hosting extra people requires the host’s prior consent.
- Any change to this agreement must be agreed by both parties at least 30 days ahead.
- Shared household products (such as soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, cooking oil and spices) are split evenly between residents.
Booking, payment & cancellation
Rooms 3 and 4 are booked directly in our booking system. Its booking terms and refund policy apply to direct bookings, and the exact payment schedule and cancellation policy for your stay are shown at checkout and on your confirmation email. At the moment:
- cancellation is free up to 60 days before check-in; after that, the full stay is charged;
- stays in the high season, 23 December to 6 January, are non-refundable.
Rooms 1 and 2 are booked on Airbnb, which handles payment and applies the cancellation policy shown on the listing.
Check-in & check-out
Check-in is any time after 15:00 on your arrival date; check-out is any time before 11:00 on your departure date. If your flight is later, you’re welcome to leave your luggage in the living room.
Thank you, and see you soon!
